The Foto Video Show 2024 was an absolute highlight for us at 3z.rent, and we’re thrilled to have had the opportunity to participate in such a dynamic and influential event. Held at the Hotel Academia in Zagreb, the show brought together industry leaders, professionals, and enthusiasts — and we were right there, standing alongside the top-tier retailers and rental houses, showing off some of the best gear in the business. From cutting-edge technology to hands-on demos, it was an exciting experience from start to finish!

At 3z.rent, we pride ourselves on offering the latest and most innovative equipment for filmmakers, content creators, and production teams — and the Foto Video Show was the perfect opportunity to show it all off.
Our booth was packed with gear that made attendees stop, look, and interact. Here’s a closer look at the standout pieces of equipment we brought:
Blackmagic Design PYXIS
We showed off the first Blackmagic Design PYXIS in Croatia! Lots of visitors had the opportunity to try out its new form-factor in a ready-to-shoot rig we whipped up. Even though you can just slap on a lens, battery and memory card, we like our rigs a bit more substantial, so we're happy PYXIS can give us so many options for any use case.
Camera Foundry CineBack
To keep the streak of firsts going, we showed off the CineBack for the Sony FX3 from Camera Foundry! This innovative camera expansion improves on the existing amazing feature set of the Sony FX3 and adds V-mount battery support, LCD storage, additional D-Tap ports for accessories and plenty of mounting options while giving the camera a boxy form factor we're all looking for. The CineBack was on display and could be tried out in a simple solo shooter rig, which caught the eye of most of our visitors.
DJI LiDAR autofocus & Laowa Nanomorph lenses
This one is a double whammy, cause we showed off a setup with Laowa Nanomorph anamorphic lenses, on a Sony FX3, balanced on a DJI RS4 Pro gimbal – using autofocus capabilities from the DJI LiDAR Range Finder! Our visitors could experience three seemingly oxymoronic abilities in one setup: anamorphic lenses, smoothly stabilized, with autofocus. The rig worked like a charm and people were surprised what shots could be pulled off with such a small and lightweight package.
DJI Transmission + Monitor + RS4 Pro Combo
One of the standout demos at our booth was the Big Brother Cam! It consisted of the Canon C70 on a DJI RS4 Pro gimbal head on a tripod, connected with the DJI Transmission system to the DJI High-Bright Monitor with gyro control enabled. People walked up to our booth, could see the camera follow them around on the monitor, grab it and control the camera as if it was in their hands. We had a lot of great reactions and plenty of fun giving the controls into the hands of visitors.
Hollyland Solidcom C1 Pro & SE
We had the chance to show off our newest collaboration with Hollyland by giving visitors a chance to try out the Solidcom C1 Pro and Solidcom SE range of wireless communication headsets! We had demos with up to five people in seamless simultaneous communication while reaching beyond 200 meters of distance! People were amazed by the crisp sound quality and the ease of use. We already had interest in renting the sets right after the show. There was also a sleeper agent in the midst – the Hollyland Pyro 7 monitor! We had it rigged on one of our display Sony FX6 rigs. Lots of questions about its TX/RX capabilities – we even got some comments on how sleek its design is! Big shout out to Hollyland, thanks for providing the gear!

In addition to showcasing the latest gear, we also highlighted our seamless rental process at the show. You already know renting from 3z.rent means that you can access the gear you need without any of the usual back-and-forth hassle. We made sure that visitors understood how our easy-to-navigate online platform works by setting up a demo portal where they can browse our extensive inventory and rent high-end equipment on-demand. We even converted some doubters into 3z.rent fans when our web-only seamless reservation process won their hearts (and wallets) over. Our technicians were on hand to answer all of the questions about the equipment, its capabilities, and how to integrate it into your production. Whether you were looking for advice on gear compatibility, production workflows, or gear setup, our team was there to provide insight and offer hands-on demos – giving everyone a chance to get familiar with the gear before renting.

Let’s be real – what makes events like this truly memorable are the people. We had a blast chatting with all of you – our fans, customers, and fellow gearheads. Whether you were asking about gear, workflows, or just sharing stories about your latest shoot, we loved connecting with everyone and hearing your insights.

If Foto Video Show 2024 was anything to go by, we can’t wait to be back next year. We had an incredible time, learned a lot, and got to connect with so many of you. We’re already brainstorming new gear to bring and new ways to make the next event even better. Until then, we’ll keep delivering the best gear and the smoothest rental experience in the business.
